Respected Sir,
I, Horace Tantang, am an Indonesian national and an undergraduate student for BM Choral
Conducting program continuing second year, AY 2020-2021 under UP College of Music.

This is to state that I am doing my study of my own and have no other source or
scholarship/grants from any (local or international) institutions, organizations or agencies. This
Covid-19 pandemic and shifting to remote learning have greatly affected my learning situation.
Currently, I do not own any computer or laptop and my internet service is just from my cell phone.
I am not in a position to ask for more financial assistance from my family because of recent
passing of a family member and others are still recovering from Covid to this date. Naturally, this
more pressing matter is a priority for the family at the moment.

I still wish to continue my education without any further delay. Since my financial situation is
currently unstable, I humbly and sincerely request for a 100 % waiver of the EDF for this 1 st
semester (AY 2020-2021), for which it will vastly improve my learning condition. Thank you in
advance for your time and consideration.
