St Mary’s Photography Competition – Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September
The 2019 Photography Competition and Exhibition, raising funds for St Mary's Church, will take The Pharmacy

Community Coffee and Cakes


Over the last six years the Monday Club has raised £11,000 for various local and national
charities through their monthly coffee mornings in The Swan Inn. Numbers recently have been
rather low, particularly in February, April and May when the coffee mornings have fallen in the
school holidays and many people have been away. For this reason, it has been decided not to
meet during July, August and October (half-term). The next three coffee mornings will have a
theme - June will be yellow to match the colour of Yorkshire Air Ambulance, September will be
blue for Sue Ryder and in November, a Christmas theme. The September event has always
been part of the Macmillan Cancer Support World’s Biggest Coffee Morning but this year it will
