VALVE FEATURES
The DELTA M4 and MP4 aseptic
single seat valves are designed for
aseptic applications in the food,
beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical and
chemical industries.
The DELTA M4 has been designed
with a rubber supported flat TFM
membrane as sterile barrier.The
DELTA MP4 however, has a TFM
membrane, shaft and cone all in one
piece.
The flat membrane design ensures
tight sealing and thus microbiological
impermeability to the outside
environment. Even after many SIP
cycles, no retightening of the
membrane fixing is necessary.
Furthermore the diaphragm has a
long life time - typically several
hundred thousand strokes depending
on the application.
STANDARD DESIGN
The DELTA M4 and MP4 valves are
available in shut-off and change-over
designs for manifold. The tank outlet
version is directly installed to the tank
bottom by means of a tank flange.
The valve housing is bolted onto the
yoke providing additional strength and
sturdiness to the valves. At the same
time the ball-shaped housing means
smooth passages without sump or
dome.
The DELTA M4 and MP4 valves are
available in the dimensions
DN 25 - DN 100 and ISO 1’’ - 4’’.
OPERATION
The pneumatically operated actuator
is maintenance-free. Its mode of
functioning is as standard prepared
for both open pneumatically/close
with spring (NC) or close
pneumatically/open with spring (NO).
PRESSURE RANGE
The required air pressure is 6 - 8 bar.
Maximum product pressure is 5 bar.
Higher product pressure on request.
TEMPERATURE RANGE
The maximum permissible
temperature for both the DELTA M4
o
and the DELTA MP4 is 135 C, short
o
time 140 C.
MATERIALS
All product wetted parts are stainless
steel material specification AISI 316L
(1.4404). The DELTA M4 valve has
marked profile seat seals made from
EPDM or HNBR alternatively FPM or
VMQ seals can be supplied. The
membrane consists of fabric
reinforced rubber supported TFM.
The DELTA MP4’s combined
membrane, shaft and cone is made
from TFM with a stainless steel core.
OPTIONS

stroke.

MAINTENANCE
The M4 and MP4 valves are very easy
to handle and to maintain.
Dismantling of the valves is also very
simple and fast due to the hexagon
nut on top of the actuator. The
membrane of the M4 and the
membrane shaft of the MP4 valve are
easily accessible.
The sealed actuator is maintenance-
free and covered by the APV five-year
guarantee.
