origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of
consumers.
Logistics involves the integration of information, transportation, inventory,
warehousing, material-handling, and packaging and security. Logistics may
have an internal focus (inbound logistics), or external focus (outbound
logistics).

2. What does the term “supply chain” imply?


The term supply chain involves all those actors and the processes they
perform, ranging from raw material to finished product and in the hands of
the customer.

Can be defined as the management of the flow of goods, information and

point of consumption in order to meet the needs of consumers.

It is the fundamental revision and the radical redesign of processes to

manufacture, the costs of transport and cargo, the target market, seasonal
trends, import and export regulations, customs duties and taxes, etc.
