Hello everybody, my name is Camila Scarlato and today I would like to talk about Johnson &

Johnson Company.

First, i will give you some basic information: The company was created in 1886 (eighteen eighty-
six), in United States, when they began to develop the everyday use elements for health care and
prevention of disease.

Nowadays, the company is a world leader and has more than 275 (two hundred seventy five)
operative companies in 60 (sixty) countries. In Argentina, Johnson & Johnson is the owner of the
third most important plant in latinamerica, located in Fátima, Pilar.

The production is focused on three main areas:

The first one consists in massive consumption products, which has a wide range of personal care
and health articles, baby, feminine and family care, beauty care products, cosmetics, fragrances,
and hair care products.

The second one called Janssen, is the branch of Johnson & Johnson dealing with the
pharmaceutical areas, and they are dedicated to research and product development related to
some diseases, such as hepatitis, AIDS, cancer,, or alzheimer.

Finally, i will tell you about the last area, wich correspond to medical devices and diagnosis. There
is a long list of innovative products and solutions used mostly by health professionals in areas such
as psychiatry, neurological disorder treatments, eye or diabetes care, infections prevention,
cardiovascular diseases, and aesthetic.

I think its really admirable a company can go so far.
