Verbatim Theatre Experiment Script

(In the voice of Skye)

Part 1: Um... Most of the time I just s-spent... Going back to old videos that I
haven’t seen in a while... Um, like ones from about five or six years ago, even..?
Um, and then with loneliness it was sort of like I’m...kind of used to that, since,
I’m like, one of my closest friends is in Ireland s-so we haven’t had...like physical
contact for a while either. Um, but it did sort of bring me to the point where... like
I’d sort of hold a pillow as a way of comfort and then that sort of evolved into
making a much larger... thing so I felt like... there was a person there, when there
wasn’t. *Giggles* I made a body pillow! *Giggles more*
Part 2: Um, I’d say – I began getting more interested in Dungeons and Dragons
*giggles*… Um... and that just also involved old -obit- hobbies that I’d gotten back
into like writing, making characters, and just being a lot more creative... Yiss.
Part 3: Uhh, I probably say that the most difficult... thing was... I think there’s two,
there’s the loneliness which sort of brought me to – try to, like - manufacture
affection... In a way. Erm, as well as, just, the fear that... maybe my sister could
possibly get it, because I had to keep going out and... going to go get the food and
whatever, and because she has like thyroid issues, fibromyalgia and all this other
stuff that’s... possibly affecting her immune system and I was constantly... afraid
that I’d bring something back and she’d... hurt more than she already does, so...
