1. What is the current health situation globaly and national situation.

According to World Health Organization, the world is facing multiple health


challenges. These range from outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases like
measles and diphtheria, increasing reports of drug-resistant pathogens, growing
rates of obesity and physical inactivity to the health impacts of environmental
pollution and climate change and multiple humanitarian crises.

Here are 10 of the many issues that will demand attention from WHO and health
partners;

1. Air polution and climate change- nine out of ten people breathe polluted air
every day, air pollution is considered by WHO as the greatest environmental risk
health.

2. Non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, cancer and heart disease.

3. Global influenza pandemic

4. Fragile ang vulnerable settings

5. Antimicrobial resistance

6. Ebola and other high threat pathogens

7. Weak primary health care

8. Vaccine hesitancy

9. Dengue
10. HIV

2. Describe the present population of the country and the world (recent and
current)

The current population of the Philippines is 109,758,588 as of Sunday, August 16,


2020, based on World meter elaboration of the latest United Nations data. While
the recent population of the Philippines was 106.7 million in the year 2008.

The current population of the world is 7.8 Billion.

3. What are the current health issues of the country and globally, (including Tarlac
, City Philippines)

Nationally and Globally, the rate of deaths from noncommunicable causes, such
as heart disease, stroke, and injuries, is growing. At the same time, the number of
deaths from infectious diseases, such as malaria, tuberculosis, and vaccine-
preventable diseases, is decreasing.

The current health issue in Tarlac , City, Health experts in this province are
now on high alert over reports that the 2019 novel coronavirus acute respiratory
disease (2019-nCoV ARD) has reached the province
