Organization Fusion

Helping schools in different ways and different times, the Supreme Student Government (SSG)
along with other student organizations help Benigno S. Aquino National High School (BSANHS) in various
ways. Every organization has different goals for this school but when these organizations cooperate to
achieve one goal, the results must be greater than their individual goal.

Led by the Science Club's YES-O and ACES, its officers and volunteers help clean the school by
going through every corner of the school to pick up trash. The Clean-Up drive project is done every
Friday. In addition, a tree planting project was led by the members of the SSG. Science and AP Club's
officers as well as the class officers of each class gathered in the school’s oval to plant trees around it.
Tree guards were prepared by various sections in order to protect the plants and help them grow. These
organizations also help to maintain the peace around the school.

In an interview with the principal of BSANHS, Sir Jesus Mercado was asked if he agrees with the
programs and projects these organizations were doing, he answered, “Cleanliness, peace and order are
what these organizations ought to do and they are doing it right.” Another question was raised if he was
satisfied with what these organizations do to help the school. He stated, “Satisfactory is always given in
every task done properly yet still the school year had just begun and I wants to see more.” There are still
a lot to improve and him alone doing the job is not enough that is why such organizations are around to
give a helping hand.

Jerald Magcalas, president of YES-O, cleared that their Clean-Up drive is a success but they are
still in need of volunteers for better results. He also stated that if these organizations will work together,
they will achieve great things and will have a great impact in the school.

These projects truly earned success and praised from students and teachers of BSANHS, but the
organizations behind this projects should not only put effort on doing their job but might as well put
effort in encouraging each and every student to help and reach out. As stated in a known quote,
“Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success.” Helping
others even in simple ways is part of what a child should learn in his life.
