 Check the authenticity of buyer/client in terms of payment method and hiring rate.
 Write an appropriate bid/proposal considering 7 effective bidding points.
Problem statement:
Upwork is a big fish in the freelance market. Many freelancers are striving to find the right project
relevant to their skillset to start their careers on Upwork. This exercise will enable you to find a suitable
job relevant to your skillset and to approach the potential client with a well-crafted cover letter for
securing the future job.

Caution: To complete this Hands-on Exercise, you are not required to sign up on Upwork.

Task:
1. Search and pick a job post relevant to your skillset/niche on Upwork. (Provide screenshot*)
2. Take the screenshot of ‘About the client’ section available in the job post. (Provide screenshot*)
3. Take the screenshot of job duration and required entry level for the selected job post. (Provide
content*)
4. Read the job post carefully and write down the key requirements of the project. (Provide content*)
5. Write an appropriate cover letter for the job considering 7 effective bidding points taught in
Lesson 97-108. (Provide content*)

Requirements:
MS Word file with following item(s):
 Screenshots for task 1 to 3.
 Written content for task 4 & 5.

Guideline:
 To search for a suitable job post, you’re required to visit the homepage of Upwork.com and select
the filter for ‘Jobs’ from the dropdown arrow in the search bar. Use relevant keyword(s) to search
for appropriate job post e.g. “Data Entry”.

 Watch Lesson 97-108 for a better understanding of 7 effective bidding points.

 Use any grammar checking application/tool while writing the description of the service.
