aplicações de ontologias. Lógica de Descrições. Linguagens para representação de ontologias (OWL-DL).
Metodologias de construção de ontologias (Methontology e OntoWeb). Ambientes de construção (Protégé,
Swoop). Motores de inferência.

Syllabus: Knowledge representation (semantic networks, frames, and ontologies). Fundamentals on ontologies.
Ontology applications. Description Logics. Languages for ontology representation. Methodologies for ontology
development. Ontology editors. Reasoning with ontologies.
