Confidential Information for Socialhub Enterprises

Socialhub is desperate to find an Indian company to partner with before this Bill becomes a
law. The Indian Government has approached Socialhub privately and warned them that they
will be forced to shut down Socialhub’s operations in India if they do not comply with the
law. The Indian Government has suggested that the best way forward may be to partner with
an Indian company, as this would help create more jobs and boost the economy.

Marvin Lombardi has learned that in order to run such a large platform across the world,
companies have to first appease Governments, and pleasing consumers and customers is
secondary. The Indian Government has given Socialhub 100 days to flesh out a partnership
with an Indian company, after which, if a deal has been made, Socialhub will be allowed to
continue its operations in India, and certain requirements under the law may be overlooked if
Socialhub were to extol the virtues of the Indian Government publicly.

Marvin Lombardi sees a lot of potential in XYZ Corporation and in Rajeev Desai. He truly
believes that Desai has single-handedly made the company what it is today. He believes that a
partnership with XYZ is exactly what Socialhub needs in India. However, there are growing
concerns about Desai’s contentious relationship with the Indian Government, and Lombardi
feels that the Government will be displeased if Desai is at the helm of Socialhub’s India
operations.

Lombardi believes that Desai will come to the table to negotiate better numbers for himself
and XYZ, and is ready to give him a slightly larger stake in Socialhub if it means that he will
let someone else be the face of operations, and will no longer comment publicly about
Government policies.

Lombardi’s goal is to maintain operations in India (its largest market) and keep the Indian
Government on its good side.
