Reflection:

I am one of the younger generations of today that aims to build a better community out of
the world where we live in right now. I believe that we have suffered enough from the events of
the past and it influenced me to thrive for betterment. With the help of the guiding principles of
the University of Batangas, I know for sure that I will be able to achieve growth, understand and
develop my skills, and prepare for the journey that I will face in the near future in the real world.
The institution will hone my capabilities and help me improve as a human being committed to
serve not only for myself, but also for others especially for the marginalized sector of our society.
This will help me grow my sense of humanity and connect more with the people while utilizing the
presence of technology as an alternative mean of providing knowledge and connectivity as well
as creating innovations to help the broader community.

The institution’s guiding principles serve as patterns designed on how to live a life of
service, responsibility and leadership. This will help me grow professionally on my chosen field
while also improving my holistic being, leading a life of excellence not only academically but as
well as morally. I am not just studying for myself; I am studying to pursue knowledge that I know
will be beneficial to my future endeavors with regard to helping people with their struggles and
inspiring them to aim higher. I am hoping that someday, when I am already in the field, I will be
able to influence someone and touch their lives with my very own journey. Upholding the values
and wisdom from the institution, I will continue to serve my people and attain global
competitiveness as I represent the name of the University of Batangas and transform the lives of
others into a better one.

The University of Batangas had produced competent and self-sufficient professionals that
are slowly making change in our world. They are already fulfilling and justifying the institution’s
goals for its students, leaving footprints to be followed by the same students in a different
generation. I am more than delighted to be part of the institution as it thrives for greatness and
excellence, hoping that someday I will be able to serve my purpose as one true Brahman. I am
one of the younger generations of today that aims to be ourselves and create a professional
individual out of the people we desire to be. These guiding principles of the institution will continue
to grow and foster each and every one of us as long as there is a child eager for knowledge and
who sees beyond every boundaries, aiming to live a life with a vision of a better world.
