HYBRID VEHICLE

SYNOPSIS

Here we are fabricating the hybrid car using double power technology. Nowadays

automobile department where introduce the new technology of vehicle. In this system we are

using the solar power and wind power to generate the electric power to run our vehicle. In

this vehicle system we are using the electric power instead of the fuel system.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Solar panel consists of number of silicon cells, when sun light falls on this panel it

generate the voltage signals then these voltage signals given to charging circuit. Depends on

the panel board size the generated voltage amount is increased. In charging circuit the

voltage signal from the board is gathered together and stored in the battery. The windmill

blade is connected to the PMDC motor shaft. Depends upon the airflow the windmill blade

rotates then the PMDC motor produce the power and the produced power is stored to the

battery in the control unit. The battery power is used to control the solar hybrid car. The front

side of the hybrid car one rack & pinion arrangement is fixed. The pinion is directly

connected to the steering shaft. We rotate the pinion in right side the two front wheels are

turn right side, and we rotate the pinion in left side the two front wheels are turn left side. We

can easily control the direction of the vehicle by using the rack & pinion arrangements.

 We get the power from the two ways one is windmill another one is solar panel.

 No fuel supply requirement

DEMERITS

 Size of the vehicle is small

APPLICATIONS

 Applicable in transports to replacing the present cars
