Department of Architectural Engineering

Introduction
The education and research in the department of Architectural Engineering aimed at
producing international architects and engineers with public and ethical responsibility,
by understanding the social and cultural technologies in our and future generations
and fulfilling the basic requirements of human life. Students will be trained to be a
talented person realizing their given values, and contribute to the sustainable
development of our human society.

Objective
The Department of Architectural Engineering in the Graduate School is based on the
basic philosophy of ‘Benefit all Mankind’that is the foundation idea of Dong-A
University. Graduate students will study deep academic theories and broad application
methods necessary for the development of human architectural culture and cultivate
competent leadership.
In order to realize the educational goals of this department, the program in our
department was designed to study the theory and practice of contemporary
architecture through active research and laboratory exercises and to learn original
ability and leadership personality throughout the whole building
