To whom it may concern,

It is with great interest in new career opportunities that I am writing this cover letter. Based on my previous
work experience, education and my interests, that I would like to develop myself in a new company,
country and/or position. I have worked and/or lived in different countries like: Mexico, Brazil, Denmark,
Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand, among others. I am open for relocating if a good opportunity emerges.

I am a confident, goal driven and experienced Engineer with a Business mindset. In all positions and
companies, I have a proven major results above the expected tasks.

I currently live in Sonderborg, Denmark. I studied in Mexico one year of Industrial Engineering (Tec of
Monterrey, Puebla, Mexico) and came to Denmark to finish my Bachelor in Engineering in Global
Management and Manufacturing (SDU – Odense, Denmark), with an exchange program at the National
University of Singapore. I hold a Master’s degree in Oil & Gas Technology specialized in Reservoir
Engineering (AAU – Esbjerg, Denmark) and on my free time I am doing a PhD (Energy & Electrical
Engineering). Currently, I work as a Process-Production Chemist for Schlumberger and provide a service
contract to HESS (ex-DONG Energy, now INEOS). Over the years, I implemented continuous
improvement tools and optimized their production and administrative processes that accounted for
millions of USD in savings; by implementing innovative procedures I was able to achieve savings that did
not require further capital investment.

I am keen on analyzing processes, the production, the supply chain and optimize how things are done. I
have more than 10 years’ experience in continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six
Sigma, TPM, etc. I have undertaken over the years several courses including a Lean Six Sigma Green
Belt.

I am really interested in new optimization projects, looking into different systems and I have the capacity
to develop creative and innovative methods or products, so a manufacturing/production system runs
smoothly and cost-effective. Besides all the above and my previous experience in Sales and Market
Research qualifies me to develop your company’s expansion. Specially for countries in Latin America as
I speak fluent Spanish.
