line for your teacher to find it easily. Teachers will try to check and respond within 24 hours.

Q. Combine the two sentences to make a compound sentence -
1) We went to the picnic. We did not stay long.
2) Thomas wanted a pen. The shop was closed.
3) The moon is bright. The stars are bright.
4) Mason could not join the class. Mason was unwell yesterday.

Q. Make two compound sentences by using ‘and’ and ‘because’.

Now, take a scale/ ruler and find the centimeter (cm) line. Take three objects - a
pencil, an eraser and a sharpener. Try to find the accurate length of these three
things in centimeters (cm) and write it beside the picture. Draw the pictures on a
paper and write the length.
