What You Need To Know To Keep Safe

Talk to your community and loved ones on how to
safely navigate through the disaster, choose a
meeting place and an out-of-area contact person
to relay messages. Scope out the hazards in your
surroundings and educate yourself on First Aid to
fields that may relate to the hazard/disaster.

KNOW YOUR COVERAGE

Check hazards around your community and check
for more safer places to evacuate that is near
your vicinity,

PACK YOUR EMERGENCY

KIT
Store valuables, medication, spare clothing. first
aid remedies and important valuables in an
emergency kit to get your family through at least
the first three days after the disaster.

LOOK FOR NEWS AND

UPDATES
Always make sure to occasionally tune in to the
news to be informed of updates and news
pertaining the disaster. A best way to get
updated in times of a disaster (such as storms) is
to invest in buying a portable radio. .

BE SAFE AND STAY

VIGILANT
Always prioritize your and your family's safety
during disasters and thread carefully! Always be
sure to check for hazards waiting to happen and
be vigilant from criminals who would take this
disaster as an opportunity to commit crimes.
