 Writing a paragraph (practice test 3)

Some people say that because many people are living much longer, the age at
which people retire from work should be raised considerably. To what extent do you
agree or disagree?
Life expectancy of human is now believed to be greatly longer than it was in
earlier time, and that leads to countless arguments concerning whether we should
significantly lengthen the working time of employees before they stop devoting or not.
From my own objective perspective, I strongly remonstrate against the aforementioned
controversial issue on account of several reasons. Initially, it’s universal knowledge that
the older people get, the weaker people are, so it’s acceptable to people whose occupation
is clerical work but, of course, those who are blue-collar workers physically cannot
efficiently cope with strength-required workloads. Not only do manual-labor employees
cannot deal with such heavy workloads but they are also easily victims of industrial
accidents which lead to numerous disastrous consequences. Another equally important
thing is that employees who have been devoting almost their heyday to work usually
want to stop working as soon as possible in order to spend the rest of their life with
family, on their interests and enjoying a worry-free life. Thus, if the age at which they,
who have already been tired of working, legally quit work is markedly increased, they
will raise objections or, at least, work inefficiently. In summary, markedly raising the age
at which people stop devoting to work is apparently a derisive idea that needs
remonstrating. We should stop demanding workers and encourage them to freely enjoy
their life after a long period of time assiduously working.

In many countries, an increase in crime has been blamed on violent images on
television and in computer and video game. To what extent do you agree or disagree
with this opinion?
Besides countless obvious advantages, modern means of entertainment namely
television programmes, social networks and online games are, however, seriously
condemned for the upward trend of crime rate in many countries on account of
unacceptably brutal contents. To my generally objective outlook, those such violent
images had better be strictly banned all over the world. First of all, those aforementioned
means of entertainment are most enjoyed by teenagers who are still naive and easy to be
affected by what they see and hear. They usually tend to ape what they have seen and
heard, which are usually brutal and that accounts for the reason why criminals are
frequently above-15-year-old teenagers. Secondly, many researchers, scientific studies
have shown that prior to the emergence of action films, survival games and so on, people
were genuinely kind-hearted, people-orientated but it no longer exists since more and
more violent films and games are encouraged. Human have become cruel and easy to be
agitated and, of course, the crime rate gradually raises year by year. In brief, brutal
contents on TV programmes and games are making people worse and the increase in
crime is not the only one outcome but there are also numerous serious consequences.
