shaping people’s ideas. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

There is obviously no denying that we are reaping huge fruits from public media
namely, among other things, television, radio, daily paper...for various purposes. Such
informative, beneficial, inspiring images and information is believed to help us form or
reach bright ideas. I cannot work out any reason to gainsay that obvious fact and do
nothing but to express my comprehensive agreement to it. In the first place, those mass
media provide countless beneficial information which helps working out solutions to
problems we come across in daily life. To take one example, a teacher hands a paper out,
whose topic is about a social problem, for instance, environmental problem. Such topic is
so rough that it cannot be effortlessly answered in the absence of realistic knowledge
which can be acquired from public media. However, every coin has two sides, just like a
given issue, whether it is good or not depends on the way people think. Therefore, the
public media play a crucial role in people’s ideation. By media, we learn how to
objectively consider a given issue from both sides, learn from other people’s ideas and
adjust ours in order to avoid misconceptions, in other word, being an extremist. In
summary, the public media is absolutely a key factor influencing people’s ideation by
widening our range of knowledge and helping us reaching great ideas that suit to social
norm.

Expressing your opinion on the topic: Should students do volunteer work?
Volunteer work is regarded as the most meaningful among a variety of actions that
mean to help other people. And students, the potential owners of the world, should
involve in volunteer work. First, our world has been modernized with countless
wonderful inventions, especially Internet and smartphones. And lots of students now
much prefer surfing Facebook, chatting with friends to going out to do physical exercises,
play sports or do something that is meaningful to their life and contribute to their
community. Those things lead students to emotionless, obesity, meanwhile, participating
in volunteer work provides them a chance not only to go out for outdoor activities but
also to make a contribution to their community. As a result, they, students in the teen age,
know how to love, to share, to find life beautiful and meaningful when they play an
important part in their community’s development career. Moreover, students can acquire
realistic knowledge and soft skills when they go in for volunteer work, which become a
broad background when they live far away from family, they know how to take care of
themselves, see to chores that they hardly do when they are students. After all, doing
volunteer work can partly make students be good citizens with good manner, ability and
they will become owners of the world in the near future on the basis of what they have
learn from volunteer work. And not only students but also people from all walks of life
should do volunteer work.
