“This time, I’m letting go”

She’s just a girl and she’s not on fire.

Too bad you got it all wrong and now she’s tired.
You come back when she’s fine
You leave when she’s on the line.
How can she move on when you’re holding her?
Gripping her when she wants out
But letting her go when you find a girl that’s hot,
All she wants is to love and be loved back.
But all you want is to knock on her heart when you lack.

Remember this, listen to me.

This poem is for you, my forever symphony.
I love you forever but you love me only when it matters.

Stop knocking on my door, I beg you.

Stop coming back if staying is so not you.
Stop loving me, stop caring for me.
Stop everything else, please stop me.

I just want to let you know

How happy I am holding unto you.
But believe me when I say, this grip is hurting me.
I am a girl and not a toy.
You can’t come back only when you want to.
Then leave just because I love you.
I may have been the kind of girl you can easily clung to
But this girl is tired and this girl is letting you go.

I am in pain for letting you go

But I can’t bare seeing you come and go
Knowing that I deserve better than being like a port
And knowing that maybe someone deserves me better than you do.

Please forgive me for leaving before you came

And I will forgive you for leaving me when I cared
Forgive me for realizing I deserve better
And I will forgive you for not being that someone better.
 I am just a girl and I’m not on fire
My heart calls for your name but this heart is tired.
For all the years that I’ve been crying and trying to be sane
My heart learned to beat not screaming your name
It is my fault that I fell for you
But it is not my fault why I’m drifting away from you
You taught me not to need you
And now I am learning that too.

I’m sorry for giving up but I’m not sorry for loving you.
I hope you’re not sorry for loving me sometimes,
But I hope you’re hurting seeing me go this time.
Cause this girl is not on fire
This girl is just simply tired.
