This activitiy can be prepared by

students of various level prior to
course.

(Homework)
Ask the students to copy/photocopy a
short text they have read and to
delete some words from it which they
think are important to know.
Ask them to try to fill in the gaps to
be sure that it is possible for another
student to do it.

(At school)
The students swap the gapped texts
with their classmates and complete
the new one.
