WHY I DESIRE TO SETTLE DOWN IN MANITOBA

As an immigrant from Nigeria, It is my desire to settle down and live in Manitoba because
international visitors from around the world feel at home in Manitoba due to the fact that this city
is amongst the most culturally diverse province in Canada, with more than 200 languages
spoken. While I was in secondary school, I performed well in French language classes although
my speaking ability was slightly below average. However, I strongly believe that living
permanently in Manitoba will provide me the opportunity to learn and speak French language at
a fast rate because Manitoba is Canada’s third largest community of French-speaking Canadians.
Many of my friends who were once newcomers but have become permanent residents in
Manitoba cannot stop sending me messages about the friendliness and the community spirit of
this town. The good report about province of Manitoba coupled with the multicultural heritage of
Manitoba has made me choose this city as my permanent place of settlement

Also, with regards to the standard and cost of living, the Canadian province of Manitoba offers a
relaxed and enriching lifestyle that I desire for myself without a heavy price tag attached to it. I
will like to be a resident of the cost of living in Manitoba is affordable in terms of the taxes,
housing, child care, car insurance, utilities, as a result, it will provide me with plenty of
opportunities to save more income and invest into programs concerning community development
that can impact the lives of people living in the community. I also admire the fact that Manitoba
province offers flexibility for homeowners thanks to low mortgage rates and home loans offered
to first time home buyers. It is my desire to own a house of my own in the future, therefore if I
am considering which location to purchase a house, I will consider Manitoba as my best option.
