--The Story of the Ice Queen and the Lonely King--

Italy 1946, 11 months after the end of WWII, Rome.

It's the first day of school after the tragic events that struck humanity for the last years. I'm sure
that nothing will be the same after such a long time.

My name is Solite Roman, I'm an Italian boy born here in Roman.

Something is weird, is summer, but somehow outside is cold, very cold.

I make my way to the class, for a glimpse of a second I see this lonely girl outside in the hallway
reading a book.

She was wearing the blue uniform of the school which meant She was last year here. She was
wearing a blue gem necklace. She was reading The Dumb Knight.

She saw that I was looking at her, she blushed and asked:" What do you want?"

-A nice book by Lewis Machin. So what's your name? I don't like saying "girl" every time.

-My name?...my name?..my name is.... Pensi.

----small talk that I can't remember---

Italy 1946, 12 months after the end of WWII, Rome.

I and Pensi planned to meet after school. .....She arrived.

Just before the Cafe, we meant to go, Pensi(which I'll refer to as Panji from now on to be easier
to me) We found an old library, which had only one book in Italia, The Story of the Ice Queen.
The Story of the Ice Queen is the story about a small girl who never found her love, and
transformed herself in the mountain base for the Castel Sant'Angelo.

----after 2 weeks Paji disappears----

I go running to her home because this was the 11th day she didn't come to school. I was scared,
we started going so well. At her place, her house was cover in thick ice and the only thing I
could see are shadows in the house. I started yelling. The door opened. It was Panji crying
thinking that I started hating her for what happened after the Cafe.

Something was off, so I got her and we went to the Castle Sant'Angelo.

----after 2 days of motorbike riding---(last nights part)----

We walk up to the Castle, nobody was there. The entrance was wide open. Only a paper with
the words: "The Queen is back". An ice storm started behind us. We run in the Castle. Almost
every door was locked, instead of one, The Queen's reading room. The Queen's reading room
was a small library with old Italian books. On the table were 3 playing cards. They were empty.
We started looking around. Panji found Queen's notes where was written: "The pure soul and
pure love will always make a wish true, but only the Queen that can find her King will be worthy
of wishing."

The playing card glowed, they weren't anymore blank, now they are A Rook, A King, and A
Bishop. Every time I tried picking one card, the rest of the changed. Panji started picking every
card. She found the queen. It had Panji face and uniform on. The storm outside was killing. Panji
yelled: " I'M THE ICE QUEEN", time stopped, a beautiful ice tiara and dress covered Panji. Panji
looked at me and said: " I wish for us to transform in this mountain too and keep our love
forever". A white light started appearing. I'm back at school. I have a white necklace . I can't
find Panji. Then I realized that She transformed herself in the necklace confessing her love and
keeping this land protected of the Ice Queen Curse but with a small problem. I am now the
King, the Lonely King....*Vulcano explosion*- Image goes back above the city- and I hear : The
Story of the Ice Queen ..and the Lonely King.
