TENDER TO SET UP COMPUTER LAB IN LEARNING INSTITUTIONS

1. Bid Submission

b. Tenderers must submit their bids in accordance with the tender documents and any qualifications/reservation
alternative bids should be indicated and listed separately.

2. Closing Date and Time

a. The closing date and time of the tender is Friday, 27 June 2014 at 12.00 p.m.

b. The Community Chest reserves the right to reject and disqualify any bids delivered after due date and time.

c. Faxed bids are not acceptable.

3. Tender Specifications and Listing of Schools

a. Tenderer to consult The Community Chest if school visitation and/or phone call to school is required.

Cabling and trenching

Requirement: underground trenching for networking cabling and power supply cabling has a separate trenching system

d. Belden OR AMP CAT 6 Lan Cable in PVC conduit (60 to 100 meter) for each computer.
e.    Belden OR AMP Structured data cabling linking computer equipment (Server, PCs and Printer) to network switch
* Separate cost for hacking and installation of underground trenching system and install floor metal box.

Procurement of Electrical Fixtures

a. 2.0 HP York air conditioner – 2 units/per school
b. APC OR PK 3KvA UPS (power backup and voltage regulator) – 1 unit/per school
(Specification: Input Frequency: 165V-280V, 50/60 Hz 230V and Output Voltage 230V with 5 output sockets with power cod

Procurement of Computer Equipment including accessories

a.    PCs (DELL or HP)
i.     Option 1 Supply and Install
ii.    Option 2 Install ONLY as TCC will provide PCs to schools

a.    Supply and install 3 seaters OR 2 seaters tables for students’ with varying height
b.    Supply 1 table for teacher
c.    Supply heavy duty plastic chairs
d.    Supply Magnetic Whiteboard – 1 unit / per school (4’(H) X 8’ (L)
e. Supply Soft Notice Boards – 2 units /per school (4’(H) X 8’ (L)

Refurbishment works
a.    Supply and Install homogeneous tiles (State Brand of Tiles provided)
b.    Supply and Install grille for the door
(Based on standard classroom measuring 25ft x 30ft)
