helps to validate a product idea early
in the product development cycle.

possible solution – DTP involves 5
stages they are: Empathise, Define,
Ideate, Prototype, and Test.
Value Proposition The value proposition should describe
how your product or service
solves/improves problems, what
benefits customers can expect, and why
customers should buy from you over
your competitors.
Point of Difference and Point of Points of parity are those components
Similarity and Point of Relevance that are viewed as compulsory for a
brand to be viewed as an authentic rival
in its particular class. It is the thing that
causes buyer to think about your image,
alongside your rivals.
Points of differentiation are the
qualities that make your brand
remarkable. It is your upper hand. It is
the thing that your image trademark
ought to reflect from others.
Point of relevance affirmation is that
the confirmation of a speculation can
be changed in either a positive or
negative manner by the proof
concerned.
Sustainable competitive Sustainable competitive advantages are
advantages assets, or capabilities of the company
that are difficult to duplicate or exceed;
and provide a superior or favourable
long-term position over competitors.
Porters 3 generic strategies Porters 3 generic strategies are
basically three strategic options which
are available for the company to gain
advantage over their competitors.

number of sales done by the company
to customer. It is often measured over a
year.

success of a product in a particular
market. It can be measured by the
amount of sales of a good in total target
market.

allocating customer in a group based on
common characteristics, this will help
companies to market each group
accordingly.

Perceptual Maps Perceptual Maps is a representation of


how the customers think about the
product or the company.
Brand Positioning Brand Positioning is where the
customer positions your brand in their
mind when they think of your brand.

company’s products differentiates from
its competitors product
