General Learning Objective :

Students are able to understand advocation strategy in health promotion.

1st Scenario

A multidisciplinary advocacy team consisting of a nurse, a doctor, a lawyer, and a health


economist is conducting hearings in a district. The purpose of the hearing was to encourage
the enactment of regional regulations for No Smoking Areas in the district. The Regent said
that he would fully support the enactment of the Regional Regulation on KTR in his area.
After a meeting with the Regent, the advocacy team will also hold an audience with DPRD
members to encourage the acceleration of the enactment of the regulations in the district.

Make question as many as possible related to the scenario and discuss the case above using the
steps of seven jumps!
