The document contains a personal reflection on the Covid19 pandemic and a prayer about Coronavirus. In the reflection, the author notes that the pandemic has brought great struggles and adjustments as billions cannot visit others or go to work due to lockdowns. It has also led people to value small things and give more meaning to their lives. Coronavirus is a challenge on the global level. Billions of people are unable to
visit one another because of lockdown, unable to go to work, can’t attend school especially for us students. This pandemic bought people to great struggles, adjustments, and realizations. Before this pandemic existed, the people tend to waste their time and lives to worldly acts but look at the people now, they already giving value small things that they should have done before. How terrible it really is not to recognize the value of the things around us, not to give our lives meaning by respecting the sacredness of life. All that we can do is to keep on praying, remember Psalms 46:1, and trust Him always.
My Coronavirus Prayer
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge our trust upon you. This pandemic
reminded us of our shortcoming. We have controlled much of the worldly acts but we are reminded in this moment of our life how helpless we are. We repent of our self- sufficiency. We pray for our medical doctors, nurses and health professionals, may you give them physical strength so they can help push back against this virus. We also pray for the people of the world to turn to you in repentance and faith. We praise you for your goodness and mercy. This all we ask in Jesus name, Amen.
