Why do you need to take this
course?
 This course is designed to provide FAITH students
with introduction to the National Service Training
Program (NSTP) Act of 2001. It explains the legal
aspects of R.A. 9163 including its guiding
principles, program of implementation and the
likes. This program is designed to inculcate and
enhance the civic consciousness of the students
by developing the value of service and
commitment for the betterment of life in their
community.
Upon completion of the course, student is expected to be
able to do the following:
1. point out relevant provisions in the Constitution that will clarify the
framework of NSTP as a venue of inculcating the ideas of true and
meaningful public service;
2. Respect and honor National Flag, National Anthem and other national
Symbols
3. participate and assist in the implementation of the Comprehensive
Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A. # 9165);
4. analyze government actions and initiatives in addressing national security
concerns;
5. critique different concepts of conservation, preservation and tolerance in
the pursuit of global peace and sustainable development; and
6. translate into action meaningful citizenship training by knowing and
upholding one’s rights and that of others.

Learning Modalities

Face-to-face teaching and learning will not be adopted


to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus during the
first semester. It shall proceed during the second
semester ONCE the government has advised schools to
do so following the guidelines of the IATF and the new
securities of FAITH colleges.
Online Learning

FULL ONLINE learning class will be facilitated during


the first semester. The schedule of subjects will be
used by students to work on the synchronous and
asynchronous activities assigned by the faculty
members.
Student Conduct during
Synchronous Classes

Students’ behavior during synchronous classes will be monitored and


will still be recognized by the school. This includes the following:
• Students will be requested to turn their cameras on; to be in proper
attire, and to occupy a less destructing environment when attending
classes.
• Attendance to synchronous classes will likewise be monitored for
documentation purposes.
Recording of Synchronous Classes

Synchronous sessions will be recorded so that those who missed the


session can catch up. It will be uploaded by the faculty member via
Genyo TX to give students the chance to review the session.
Students will be informed by the teacher in case the session will be
recorded. Students are discouraged to record and share their video
conferencing with the faculty members. Following the strict
implementation of the Data Privacy Act is highly applied.
