There are about 6 billion mobile phones in the world, that’s
87% of the world’s population. Let’s take a look at how people
use their phones.
I use it every day. I can’t imagine life without it! I often send about
30 to 40 messages a day and I use the dictionary at school.
I haven’t got a mobile phone. I think they are unhygienic.
And they ruin conversation! I occasionally use my girlfriend’s
phone to phone people.
Oh, wow! I love my cool, new phone! It does everything – I can
go online, make free calls and it even understands me when
I speak to it!
I usually use it for work. I sometimes make calls from the
car to talk to clients or organise meetings for the day.
I don’t use my digital camera, I always take photos on my phone.

My name is Elio, I am 17 and I live in La Floresta, a small town
in Spain about 13 km from Barcelona. Of course, I support
Barça – the best football team in the world! I’m a member of
the club and go to all 19 league matches at the Camp Nou
stadium. I sometimes go to watch European matches too.
Barcelona have a fantastic record – 14 international cups and
over 60 domestic cups. My favourite player is Messi – he’s
absolutely incredible. And we have the same birthday – the 24th
of June.
