a) St. Jaime Cardinal Sin is a Roman Catholic Archbishop  and St.

Oscar Romero is an
archbishop are both spiritual leaders that made them both influentially involved in the
unjust acts of the state.The initial attitude towards the government and country mainly
focused on  spreading the good news and making the truth be made known. Some of
the objectives that brought about the awareness of the people are the ecumenical
agenda,the renewal of the church,who is the church and building bridges to the world.  

b)They both became the voices of the silent and oppressed by the state. They were   a
powerful influence or a force that led millions Filipinos to revolt and to stand for what
their rights by uniting people against the tyranny of the government. One of the most
important pivotal events or turning points for them was when St. RomeroSt. Romero,
Fr. Grande friend, priest Rutilio Grande,was cruelly  murdered by a military death squad
which made him prompted him to vocalize the unjust that was done and
Marcos.Another is when police raided the Church and arrested the people and the
priest inside  which they had no permission coming from the church. This angered the
church which rooted them to write pastoral letters against the actions of Marcos. They
played a key role in revolts which made people realize the truth and their voices to be
heard.

C) The intervention in the political arena was the virtous chagrin which ushered discords
caused by the state to be acknowledged and fought for. St. Oscar Romero gained
the hearts of the poor  because of his condemnation or strategies in opposition to the
government.He really believes that in knowing God , you must serve justice and his
advocate for reasoning found respect and commitment by the people.
