Ta ki te
Ta ki teTa ki te
Ta ki te Ta ki te Ta ki te
Ta ki te Ta ki te Ta ki te Ta ki te

Things to Explore:

 Begin by clapping the cycle

 Introduce the syllables for a given speed (3 subdivisions per beat “TaKiTe”, etc)
 While keeping the same rhythmic speed, change the syllables to a different grouping (2
“TaKa”, etc)
 Remove all syllables except for the first “Ta” to now see the poly rhythm between the
given cycle and the rhythm being recited.
