Stay safe online by following these simple
rules
• Always keep your passwords secret.
• Think twice before you post anything on the Internet.
• Remember, once something is posted or shared, it’s
very difficult to remove.
• Always be polite and respectful. If you wouldn’t say it
in real life, then don’t say it online.
• Ask your parents before giving out your name, address
or any other personal information online.
• Don’t open messages from people you don’t know.
• Don’t accept special offers or deals that seem too good
to be true.
• Talk to your parents if you feel uncomfortable with
what you see on the Internet.
• Be careful who you trust online. If you don’t know the
person in real life, then ask a parent before you
become friends with them online.
