The world, in which we live, is an unjust place.

There is injustice everywhere but the biggest, oldest,

largest and the most fearsome injustice is brought upon on women who have been deprived of their
fundamental and most basic rights by their co existents, from day 1 till this day, in this chauvinist and
male dominant society, they have been denied their socio-o-economic status, they are deprived of the
status as stated by all the religions, ethics and laws. As Gandhi once said: OF ALL the evils for which
man has made himself responsible, none is so degrading, so shocking or so brutal as his abuse of the
better half of humanity to me, the female sex, not the weaker sex. It is the nobler of the two, for it is
even today the embodiment of sacrifice, silent suffering, humility, faith and knowledge. 

She deserved respect, not given. Deserved honor: snatched, deserved freedom: caught, deserved help:
victimized, deserved equality: treated inferiorly deserved love: given hatred. And these things do
nothing but witness women have not been given their due status rather her very basic status has been
taken away from her and one, who does not admit it, he is blind. Who does not listen is deaf and who
does not speak for status of women is dumb.

Mr. President. Although the fairer sex does not want to build up a castle on the rudiments of fiascos
created by man, she only wants a chance to pro herself, she has been marginalized and has been made
the eternal slaves of men.

Mr. president, it is an utter injustice with the female kind that the whole world is being ruled only by one
dominant force, it is utter injustice with the female kind that majority proportion in jobs is given to
males it is utter injustice with woman that family still prays for a baby boy and fells ashamed on birth of
baby girl it is an utter injustice with woman that when kid she is buried alive at infancy and if young she
is treated as sex object which could be bought, sell or inherited… status is not given my lord, due status
is not given..

Now allow me to tell you what the status of woman in society is, she is not an ornament to decorate the
drawing room. Serving, knitting, painting and nursing kids are her pastimes and cooking and cleaning her
business rather she deserves status equal to man. She deserves to enjoy a free life, free from all
shackles of society, she deserves to pay her due share in progress of society without bullies by chauvinist
man, and she deserves to pass her life with dignity, self-respect and honor.

In all the fields of human endeavor women have proved that they are no less than men. They have
proven themselves as good mother, good daughter, good wife and good sister to good scientists,
doctors and teachers, and it’s high time now, when women must be given their long denied rights and
status. Islam has also laid great emphasis on the status of woman as prophet said "It is the generous (in
character) who is good to women, and it is the wicked who insults them." Unquoted. When god created the
world, he created two beings men and women, both with two arms, 2 legs, same mind, and same
determination, and vigor then from any definition of world man and woman are having equal rights thus
we all should pledge that we will strive to give woman her due share in society by crushing the evils of
illiteracy, dowry, ignorance, and economic slavery would have to be fully removed in order to give them their
rightful place in society.
