period and why?

this time period because he played a major role in freeing the slaves and
rebuilding the American South. Lincoln was an advocate for the
abolishment of slavery for the entirety of his political career and his
opinion was extremely influential.

than reading them yourself?
- Hearing the cards read makes it harder for me to identify the correct
historical figure that is being described because I am a visual learner.
However, hearing the cards also challenges me to become a better
listener and auditory learner, as well as helping me better know the
information.
3. What was the most important event connecting Reconstruction and
Westward Expansion? Why?
- In my opinion, the Louisiana Purchase was the most important event
connecting Reconstruction and Westward Expansion because it nearly
doubled the size of U.S. territory. Essentially, the Louisiana Purchase is
the single event that allowed the U.S. to expand West, because they
would not have had the land to do so without it.
