Conjunctions

 are the words that are used to join words, phrases or sentences together.
 And, but, or and so are common conjunctions.

AND
 Is used to join words and phrases of the same kind.

OR
 Is used to connect two or more choices. The listener would have to choose one
of the options.

BUT
 Is used to join ideas that are opposite or different.

SO
 Is used to show the result of an action.
