CDI Pulse Generator Voltage Waveform

The impulse from the CDI's pulse generator has the below waveform. This was
viewed on an HP1740 Scope. The engine speed was at 1200 rpm measured
with a digital tach. Engine speed was varying, but this is a "best effort"
measurement. CDI pulse voltage was measured at 14 Vptp.

Under the same conditions, a Fluke multimeter set to ACV measured 1.7 Vrms.
When engine speed was increased, the peak-to-peak voltage increased to about
20 Vptp and Vrms also increased to 2.2 Vrms.

During engine cranking, the Vrms was measured at 0.48 to 0.50.

The HP scope was connected across the two pulse wires running up
to the CDI: Blue/Yellow and Green/White.
