TOUR ITINERARY
Whitehaven Beach is a definite must‐see in the Whitsundays. If you would
like a leisurely visit to explore all of Whitehaven, the amazing white
silica sand beach, the crystal clear aqua waters and the stunning Hill
Inlet walk at the Northern end then this is the cruise for you. It is
Mother Nature at her best, the most photographed beach in Australia and
you have time to explore it all.
You will first go ashore at the Southern end and crew will advise of the
trip time to Hill Inlet at the Northern end conducted on a smaller
vessel. Youll enjoy a quick blast along the full length of Whitehaven
and cross Hill Inlet to the landing point where you can enjoy the
fantastic walk to the lookout. There are displays along the walk that
will tell you of the history, flora and stories of this stunning area.
Your guided visit here will be for an hour and a half allowing a very
leisurely pace to take it all in and enjoy this superb, spiritual place.
At the southern end you can choose to enjoy some of the other walks,
wander along the beach to your own secluded stretch, laze on the beach
or cool off in the azure waters. It is a stunning place to just be!
There is also an optional snorkelling trip to nearby Chalkies Beach.
On the cruise home youll see a number of other National Park islands,
famous Hamilton Island and cross the Whitsunday Passage explored by
Page 6 of 16
Captain Cook. Youll also visit Cid Harbour ‐ one of the most
idyllic areas of the Whitsundays with calm waters, beautiful
coastline and soaring peaks. These waters are home to an amazing
array of wildlife including turtles, sea eagles and you may even
see the strange elusive dugong.
Your day cruise vessel has air conditioned lounges and outer viewing
deck areas. Your friendly crew member will provide an informative
commentary on the history and natural wonders of the area throughout the
day. Sit back, breathe in the sea air and marvel at the many awesome
sights of the Whitsundays.
On the cruise home it is sunset time and Happy Hour at the bar with free
nibbles. What a way to end the day!
