Max’s History

You were originally created by Weyland as a military issue android accompanying the USMC.
However in a protracted engagement the vessel you were on took heavy damage and you
yourself were nearly put out of commission. 

Luckily for the ship, and you. A Seegson vessel was nearby and arrived quickly to help. They
managed to save some of the crew and marines, and you. 

One such marine was a pilot by the name of Jimmy, who was on transfer from one base to
another with his son in tow. Heavily wounded and in need of medical attention all he raved
about was doing whatever he could for his son. Seegson personal offered him a difficult choice,
they could “operate” on his wounded son but it would be expensive. In return they would need
him to sign a contract to become a Seegson colonist. Of course, he did. 

What he didn’t realize however was that Seegon merely built him him son using the remains of
one of the damaged Combat Androids. 

As a consequence of this re-writing of his code. Max has been prone to bouts of what some
would call disobedience, others more technically minded might call a clash of incompatible
coding, while others might even call multiple-personality disorders. He is of great interest to
Seegson scientists because of this. Can an Android simply be re-programmed? (leaving this
open to you. I am not trying to force you into anything just giving options for potential role play
possibilities)

 It is unlikely that Max remembers much prior to his “Seegson surgery”. However his Weyand
code would wish him to return to Weyand or the USMC. While his Seegson coding would simply
wish him to be returned to an Android research center where his current mental state can be
assessed before most likely re-deployment in another field.

However in the meantime Max might have developed some attachment to his “father” Jimmy,
which could pull him in yet another direction. 

Some of Max’s knowledge is built into his system, and others are from subconscious research
he himself is unaware that he does (until of course that he”awakes to his Android self) and now
he is aware of waking up at night and using his console to keep himself debriefed. These files
are hidden on his personal consol and there were blockers in place so that when awake he
would not notice them. 

Max, however, is prior to some knowledge about the true research being done in Kappo Colony.
His and Jimmy’s placement in Kappy colony is not only to support the colony but also to have
“sleeper” agents in charge of protecting it. Max is aware that the facility below is still researching
communication but not that of the mechanical/cross galactic. The Seegson facility is researching
bio-communication. There are other beings out there, many of them communicate in other
methods, some “telepathically” and others using pheromones. This facility was researching way
to both interrupt those communications or better yet, translate or broadcast their own signals.
They currently do not have any full, living specimens on site of any variety, but they are working
with several pieces of dead one. There is also hope that soon they will receive a specimen.
Seegson also maintains a para-military base under the disguise of the company Terran
Territories surveying. They are mainly a last resort to try and contain any quarantine breaches
or to retrieve hard to get samples.
