Dear PPO2 Vincelyn Aries R.

Eviota,

I hope this email finds you well.

As part of the ADB-GEF/DENR Project entitled “Combatting Environmental Organized

Crime in the Philippines”, in priority ports in Region 7, Region 13, and the NCR, we will be
having an initial assessment of the system in place. This activity aims to increase the capacity of
ports personnel and partner agencies, through orientation of appropriate and duly tested tools, in
the conduct of assessment and evaluation of its system to track and monitor wildlife trafficking
based on internationally accepted standards.

The target participants of this assessment will be the Ports Personnel on Lipata Port, Nasipit
Port, and North Harbor (NCR), including other government agencies concerned in the
enforcement of wildlife laws within the target port’s jurisdiction.

In this regard, we are humbly requesting for your assistance to provide us the list of government
offices engaged or concerned in the enforcement of wildlife laws within Lipata Port (e.g. PPA,
BFAR, BPI, BAI, PCG, PNP, BOC, etc.), also the head of offices and addresses for these
respective agencies within the said port. This would help us to address to them a formal letter of
invitation for this initial assessment.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would notify us regarding this request.

Thank you.
