The document discusses the impact of technology during World War II and its subsequent developments. It covers three areas: 1) Code breaking and communications, which helped develop coding/hacking fields after the war; 2) Use of early computers and devices for calculations, which are now commonly used; 3) Advancements in German tanks and weapons for increased speed and lighter weight, aspects now seen in modern transportation.

had used codes to communicate to each other so as to avoid letting the Allies know their plans. However, the code breakers of Britain’s Bletchley Park were able to crack the secrets of the Germans. This has lead to the field of coding and ethical hacking after the war. Today there is a huge increase in the number of coders and hackers for the development of electronics and communications. The Americans, during the war, had also used electronic computers and other devices to calculate the angle, distances, battlefield equations, and more. The soldiers carried small digital computers in their pockets to the battlefield. Now, these machines are being used even by the common man after many improvements were made to it. These are generally used for simple and complex mathematical calculations. Radars and sonars were also used during the war to find and attack the enemy. Today these are used in ships and aircrafts to avoid colliding with land or other ships/aircrafts. Vehicles
When the Germans had started preparing for war
against the Allies, they had secretly built superior tanks which were much better and unbeatable than what was with the Allies (even though there were severe restrictions upon Germany constructing vehicles for military purposes. Some of the betterments in the German tanks were the light weight, replacement of the fuel tank, the speed of the tank, improvements in the radio systems, and more. Some of these changes have been made in today’s daily transportations. The cannons and machine guns that were used in the war by the Germans were comparatively light in weight and therefore easier to carry for the soldiers when been taken to the battlefield. This was done so to let transporting of soldiers be quicker by the reduction in weight. Nowadays many items that are to be carried through long distances are made as light as possible, and the modern vehicles are made strong enough so that it does not slow down even if there is some large weight in it.
