    SPOUSAL VISA CHECK LIST

    SECTION 1: APPLICATION FORMS


    1. Application form (printed and signed)
    2. Proof of payment 
    3. IHS number confirmation
    4. HIS Payment confirmation
    5. Priority Payment Confirmation
    6. Passport photograph x2
    7. Sponsorship form (optional)
    8. VAF4A Appendix 2

    SECTION 2: ENGLISH LANGUAGE EVIDENCE


    You can submit either of these evidences
    1. Degree certificate from a Uk university
    2. IELTS test for UKVI with a minimum of A1 be it life skills, academic or general
    training
    3. UK Naric for degrees outside the Uk with original degree certificate and letter from
    university that the course was taught in English.

    SECTION 3: RELATIONSHIP DOCUMENT


    1. All support letters
    2. Marriage certificate (with translation)
    3. Divorce papers if married previously
    4. Children’s birth certificates if you have children together.
    5. Pictures throughout relationship eg 2 to 3 from each visit and the same from
    wedding.
    6. Conversations and call logs from What's app/viber/fb messages, facetime,fb video
    logs,skype logs (which ever communication you use).
    7. Copy of ID page of passport. (sponsor)
    8. Copy of all entry and exit stamps from passport.
    9. Flight email bookings (if possible but optional).
    10. Receipts from gifts send to each other
    11. Receipt of money sent for family maintenance ( if applicable)

    SECTION 4: FINANCIAL REQUIREMNT EVIDENCE


    CATEGORY A
    1. 6 months bank statement 
    2. 6 months payslips 
    3. Employment contract ( optional)
    4. Employer's letter
    CATEGORY B

    1. 12 months bank statement 


    2. 12 months payslips
    3. Employment contract ( optional)
    4. Employer's letter
    5. P60 ( if you want)

    SECTION 5: ACCOMMODATION EVIDENCE 


    OWNED PROPERTY
    1. Land registry documents
    2. Mortgage statement 
    3. Council tax bill 
    4. Pictures of the house.(optional)

    RENTED
    1. Tenancy agreement.
    2. Letter from landlord (stating number of bedrooms, number of occupants, number of
    people the property accommodates.
    3. Council tax Bill
    4. Pictures of the house.(optional)

    SECTION 6:
    1. Tuberculosis test (if applicable)

    Make photocopies of important documents. 


    Everything should be arranged in this format.
