RECONDITIONED LONG-BLOCK ENGINES

Some engine types are relatively difficult to find complete. Some specific external parts are very expensive
reconditioned or new. Because of this the LONG-BLOCK engine is the most relevant option.
HAMOFA is specialized in the assembly of the reconditioned LONG-BLOCK engines.

What is a LONG-BLOCK engine?


This is a partly assembled engine without specific external parts. The major components of the engine are
pre-assembled and ready to install and have original accessories added. These LONG-BLOCK engines are
produced in compliance with the customer’s old engine serial number and are 100% identical in the
specification and configuration.
The LONG-BLOCK is a quicker way to rebuild an engine avoiding the work and time of rebuilding and
assembling the LONG-BLOCK components. Only the conversion of the specific external parts from your old
engine is required.

 No extra costs as it is not needed to buy the external parts that are still reusable from your old
engine
 Easy to pack and transport
 Easy and cheap to import the LONG-BLOCK as it is accepted as “PARTS” and not a “COMPLETE
DIESEL ENGINE”
The reconditioned engine LONG-BLOCK includes: For the LONG-BLOCK engine, there are parts that
need to be converted:
 Reconditioned Engine Block × Fuel system complete including injectors.
 Reconditioned or new CRANKSHAFT (STD size) × Valve cover(s)
 NEW crankshaft MAIN BEARINGS × Inlet manifold with breather lines.
 Reconditioned or new CAMSHAFT (STD size) × Exhaust manifold with turbo charger(s).
 Reconditioned connection rods with new × Flywheel together with the flywheel housing.
bushings × Oil pan with suction pipes for oil.
 NEW connection rod BEARINGS × Front pulleys and V-belts for alternator or
 NEW pistons (set complete with rings, pin and pumps.
clip) × All filters and filters housing.
 NEW cylinder liners × Compressor, PTO’s, engine mounts/stands.
 Reconditioned Cylinder head complete × Starter, alternator, electric sensors, ECU and
(including the NEW valves, guides and springs) wiring.
 NEW Cylinder head gasket and bolts/studs
 Reconditioned or NEW valve tappets, pushers
and tubes
 Reconditioned or NEW water pump.

The following parts will be delivered together with the long-block (in the package):
 Reconditioned or NEW oil lubricate pump(s).
 NEW engine GASKET SET COMPLETE
 Extra parts IF these are ordered

Important! The parts, that have to be converted from the old engine, must be checked carefully.
Damages of the engine, caused by poor quality or broken parts, converted from the old engine, are not
covered by warranty.
When some of the parts that need to be converted from your old engine are damaged, they might be
ordered additionally new, used or reconditioned.
Packaging.
Every engine, supplied by HAMOFA, is carefully prepared for safe worldwide transportation.
For the road transport within the EU borders the engines are securely fixed on standard safety pallet and
wrapped with special packing foil.

For intercontinental transportation by SEA or AIR every engine is packed into a wooden box, certified for all
countries. This certificate will be delivered together with all the other shipping documents.

Worldwide transport.
ROAD, SEA or AIR worldwide transport can be offered additionally through carefully selected by HAMOFA
logistical partners.
The engine can be delivered to the nearest custom terminal, sea port or airport as well as to the final
destination address.
