and have solved the hurdle in less than 35 minutes have done
well.

The hurdle is available at the link below :

Best Regards
UrPercentile.com

Ans 1. Only statement C is possible. If 5 children share the

property the average percentage will be 20 %.

Ans 2. Checking Each statement :

a) Not correct as A: E in ratio of 1:5 so if A get 100, E gets 500.
b) A:B = X : X+100 = 1:2
2X = X+100
X = 100
Now , B: C = X+100 :X+300 = 2:5
5X+500 = 2X+600
3X = 100
This give different value of X so the statement is not possible.
c) B and C get 2x + 3X = 5X , E gets 5X , so the statement is not
correct.
d) A:C = X : X+150 = 1:3
or 3X = X+150
or X = 75
Now C:E = X+150 : X+300 = 3:5
5X + 750 = 3x + 900
2X = 150
So X = 75 , So this is possible. So Only statement D is correct.

Ans 3. None of the statement is false. Let each one get 2X,
3X,4X,5X and 7x making the total = 21x. (UrPercentile.com)
a) If you know the value of 3x+4X you can determine X.
b) If you know the value of  7x-2X , you can determine X.
c) If you know the value of  5x , you can determine X.
d) If you know the value of  3x+4x+5x , you can determine X.

Q4. INR 16,500.00 INR 82,500.00

Q5. INR 22,750.00 INR 195,000.00

Q6. INR 14,200.00 INR 113,600.00

Solution of Q6:  Total Amount = 355,000
The fifth one gets= 71,000
So the first four get =  355,000 - 71,000= 284,000
Dividing 284,000 in Ratio 1:4:7:8

First one gets : 284,000/ 20 = 14,200

Since the second and third one cannot be the one who get the
lowest or highest amount we calculate for the fourth one.
The fourth one gets: 162,500*8/20= 113,600.
So the highest is113,600 (received by the fourth one) and the
lowest is 14,200 received by the first one.

Q7. INR 19,750.00 INR 138,250.00

Q8. INR 52,200.00 INR 113,100.00
Q9. INR 52,000.00 INR 168,000.00
Q10. INR 61,600.00 INR 167,200.00
Q11. INR 73,500.00 INR 166,600.00
Q12. INR 84,800.00 INR 159,000.00
Q13. INR 96,900.00 INR 148,200.00
Q14. INR 108,000.00 INR 132,000.00
(Q.15=D), (Q.16=E), (Q.17=I), (Q.18=K), (Q.19=B), (Q.20=F)

Ans 1-B :  Statement A is false. iIf 16 % = 44,800 than 100 % will

be 280,000. Statement C is also fasle. if 16 % = 17776 , 100%
will be 1,11,100. Those who selected either A or C can take
credit for this question. There was error in option the last option
should have been both A and C.

Ans 2B :  Checking each statement :

a) Not necessarily true. This may be one of the situation but is
not the only situation.
b) The fifth child gets 27 %. So difference between fifth and fourth
child is 1% and difference between second and third child is 10
% . So difference of 75 and 750 is correct. (UrPercentile.com)
c) Difference between first and third child = 11%.
11X/100 = 110
X = 110*100/11 = 1000
So minimum balance is 1000 and not 1100.
So only statement B is true.

Ans 3B : Statement C is false. The second child gets 38,350.

Ans.4-B   240,000    19,200   43,200    50,400    60,000

Ans.5-B   220,000    19,800   41,800    48,400    57,200
Ans.6-B   320,000    41,600   38,400    76,800    96,000
SOLUTION of Q6:  The first four receive 13%,12%,24%, 30%
respectively.
In total these four receive 79%
The balance = 21 %
Now 21 % = 67,200. (UrPercentile.com)
so 100 %= 320,000 is the bank Balance
and 13 % of 320,000 = 41,600. (First Child)
and 12 % of 320,000 = 38,400. (Second Child)
and 24 % of 320,000 = 76,800. (Third Child)
and 30 % of 320,000 = 96,800. (Fourth Child)

Ans.7-B   345,000    48,300   37,950    79,350    106,950

Ans.8-B   365,000    54,750   36,500    62,050    116,800
Ans.9-B   390,000    62,400   35,100    62,400    117,000
Ans.10-B  415,000    70,550   49,800    62,250    141,100
Ans.11-B  450,000    81,000   49,500    63,000    103,500

25. Summary: A tourist's paradise

Uttaranchal has come leaps and bounds as a tourist
destination. Several national and international awards have put
the state under the spotlight. With both the central and state
government taking serious initiatives to develop the state for
year-round tourism, Uttaranchal has something to offer to
everybody. From National parks to silent valleys, adventure
sports to religious destinations, Village fairs to melas all
capturing the local spirit, it is growing at a frenzied pace as a
world-class tourist spot. Infrastructure development and
upgradation to meet international standards, strategic projects to
generate local employment have all reduced migration of the
local village population.

All the best 2 all.

and funds from the public sector are also used for developing
infrastructure of many villages by various schemes which

Tourism in Uttaranchal
Uttaranchal has a diverse variety of tourist destinations-spiritual,
adventurous and scenic. The State government initivative in
developing the existing and new places of tourist interest has
brought accolades to the state. Self employment schemes and
new projects used to  generate employment are the reason for
recognition at the Centre. The core idea is to depict the state as
a perinnial tourist attraction. Infrastructure development,
preservation of historical heritage sites and the village tourism
concept has seen an increase in the number of tourists which
minimises the rural exodus.
