What is organizational change management?

Organizational change management refers to an event or project

that a company or organization wants to start, which can cause great
disruption to their day-to-day operations. There can be many
different factors in an organization that lead to change.

5 types of organizational changes

1. Proper change

Change at the organizational level is a large-scale change that affects

the entire organization. This includes leadership in restructuring,
adding new policies or introducing new entrepreneurial technology.

Such a comprehensive change will be felt by every employee.

However, as the dust settles, you may begin to notice improvements.
Organizational change can be a sharp indicator of an understanding
of how outdated long-term policies may or may not reflect a
company’s changing identity.

Successful organizational change requires comprehensive planning

and communication throughout the organization.

2. Transformation Change

The changes in the transition are particularly focused on the

company’s organizational strategy. The best companies that can
withstand rapid change in their business are fast, flexible, and ready
to change their game plans when needed.
Strategies are planned to guide the transformation of the company
to take into account the current situation and direction. Cultural
trends, social environment and technological advances are some of
the many factors that leaders need to consider.

3. personal change

Employee changes occur when a company experiences excessive

growth or layoffs. Each of these types of organizational changes will
result in significant changes in employee engagement and retention.

4. Unplanned change

Unplanned change is usually defined as an emergency replacement.

Although unplanned changes cannot be predicted - they can be
handled in an organized manner.

For example

In the United States, for example, in early 2017, thousands of

residents fled their homes in the distance in search of temporary
shelter. After this power, the victims began a long process of
restoring normalcy in their lives.

5. Change the solution

Leaders make changes in solutions when determining a company’s

shortcomings or need to address performance.
For example, a financial crisis is usually the cause of slow action and
requires a change in solution. Other common examples include
introducing an employee training program, introducing new
software, or creating a position to relieve pain.
