This refers to your advertisement in the Himalayan Times dated 24 August 2020, calling for
applications for the post of tourist guide. I am keenly interested in filling up the vacancy as
tourism and travel are areas very closely related to my areas of interest and is top priority as a
career option for me.
I am young, energetic and enthusiastic person. My strengths include knowledge of the cultural
life of people of different ethnic communities and have knowledge of historical and heritage
sites, knowledge of conservation areas, wildlife sanctuaries and areas of tourist interest. Besides
this I enjoy visiting new places and meet new people. I even enjoy doing various adventure
sports and trekking activities.
