a. Basic- Addition, subtraction, multiplication division
b. Memory- Used to store info.
c. Scientific- mathematical, statistical, functions etc.
2) Accessibility of calculators
a. Display of fig.- Clear & Distinct
b. Display- Bright
c. Keys- Right size & shape
3) Power unit of calculator
a. Mains operated- Run by electricity- cheaper but not convenient
b. Battery operated- Convenient- run by ordinary or long-life batteries

Exercise 2.

Musical Instruments

1) Wind Instruments
a. Played by blowing air into them
b. Woodwind family-Air is made to vibrate inside wooden tube (Flute)
c. Made of brass: Trumpet & horn
2) Percussion Instruments
a. Played by banging or striking them
b. Ex- Drum
3) Stringed Instruments
a. Music is made by plucking the strings
b. Or player draws a bow across the strings
c. Ex- Harp and guitar or violin and cello
