Brief description
The main motive of making this proposal is to implement a Touch less control panel for germ-
free interaction in the public places. During this pandemic situation it is getting almost
impossible to stop the spreading of virus, so we came with an idea which will help to control
the spreading of the virus to some extent. In this project we are making a device which will
project a floating image of the screen of any devices. The user can operate the device without
touching screen. This device is consisting of “Aska3D projection plate” from ASUKANET
CO. and “zForce touch sensor” from NEONODE TECHNOLOGIES. To determine the touch
locations of the user finger. The touch-less control panel consists an original high-sensitivity
infrared-sensor which detects the approach of a hand in a series of steps – detecting the
presence of a hand within 10 centimetres from the panel; the actual position of the hand within
5 centimetres; and the positions of fingers within 3 centimetres. Detected data is processed
using our own original algorithm to realize diverse forms of control based on the positions of,
and gestures made by, hands and finger. The holographic images you see are not virtual image
or optical illusion. They are actual video and object projected in mid-air. This technology can
now be used in elevator, vehicles, medical treatment, malls, restaurant, AVTM and other public
places.

Statement of the Problem

In this pandemic, individual turned out to be more cognizant about their wellbeing. Out in the
open spots, people attempt to dispose of contacting any item as a precautionary measure. There
are loads of electronic gadgets at shopping center, eatery, railroad station. Which comprise of
touch screen gadgets for booking or putting in a request. This touch screen gadget can help the
COVID19 infection to spread quickly. COVID19 as well as there are a lot more ailment which
is spread by interacting with the contaminated article. This abatements the odds of staying safe
from the disease and unsafe microorganisms.

Objectives

The objective behind this proposal is to provide a 100% safety security to their health and
hygiene. We are executing a touchless control board for sans germ collaboration in the open
spots. During this pandemic circumstance it is getting practically difficult to stop the
spreading of infection, so we accompanied a thought which will assist with controlling the
spreading of the infection somewhat. In this pandemic we are making a gadget which will
extend a coasting picture of the screen of any gadgets.

Technical Plan

In this proposed work, One of the core products involved is the “ASKA3D projection
plate” from Asukanet Co., available since 2017. This plate uses a trans missive dihedral corner
reflective array to project an object’s image into space above the plate. The image is optically
“real,” meaning that the light coming from the mid-air image travels to the eye in the same
way that light from a physical object would travel. To the viewer, this appears as if the
physical object were floating in space, allowing one to look at it from various angles to see
around the sides and even to photograph it. The second key product is the zForce touch
sensor from Neonode Technologies. It uses an array of infrared projectors and sensors to detect
the spatial position of the user’s fingers as they pass through the sensing plane. The base
technology, available since 2014, can determine “touch” location as well as estimate the
“force” of the touch by measuring the depth of the intrusion into the sensing plane. The zForce
touch sensor uses an array of IR emitters and receivers to determine the object’s location, such
as fingers, in its sensing plane. The creation of a control panel takes more than just combining
these two products, of course. There are many design elements to consider and resolve,
including the panel size, viewing angle, and user feedback as to what buttons they have
pushed; how to let developers configure the virtual control panel; and the like. But the
technical heavy lifting the advanced technologies that generate the floating image and sensing
the virtual button presses are essentially off the shelf.
ASKA 3D PROJECTION PLATE
This technology sends light emitted by an image or object through a special glass plate, and
collects that light on the other side of the plate at the same distance to create an image or object
identical to the original. Also, we have been developing a new production method using not
only glass but also plastic. The distance between the original and the plate is identical to the
distance between the plate and the projected image. However, the size of the projected image
and the distance at which an image can be projected depend on the size of the plate. A small
plate will only allow you to see the projected image from a specific position in front of it. A
large plate, on the other hand, increases the distance at which the image is projected, enlarging
your field of vision.

ZFORCE TOUCH SENSORS

zForce technology consists of a set of light emitters and detectors, an optical light guide with
lenses and a controller IC that is connected to a host. The host runs Neonode´s proprietary
embedded software stack and is connected to the controller. The controller IC regulates the
light emitters, that emit short pulses of light in an intended sensing/interactive plane. The
controller continuously monitors the light that is collected by the detectors and checks the
ambient light in order to calibrate the system to work in all light conditions. Objects in the light
path of the sensor cause intensity shifts in the received light. This information is used to initiate
tracking of the objects. The size and position of each object is reported back to the host. By
combining the measured value from a number of detectors, the position and object size are
calculated. Compensations are also made for dust and other small particles on the optical
surfaces, as well as for variations in component quality.

Equipment Cost Estimate (lakhs)

Justification
i. ASKA 3D PROJECTION PLATE 3.00 The most important
feature of which the system is based on.

ii. Metal designs. 10.00 Designing of the

unbreakable and impenetrable interior of metal safe.

iii. Software make 4.00 Designing the basic

software of the system
iv. Metal Door. 10.00 Metal door with sensors and
connection with the system.

Total 27.00

Management Plan

The installation of the system would be done by the technical personnel of the company from
which the equipment is bought. The technical staff can take over the responsibility of
operating and maintaining it after it starts functioning.

The supervision and management of lab activities would be taken up by the following
members.

I. Prof. (Department of ETRX)

Cost Estimate

A total sum of Rs. 27.00 lakh is required for non-recurring expenditure. Out of this, Rs.
15.1 lakh is required for hardware and Rs. 12.00 lakh for software. The details of the
same have been provided in the technical plan section.

An estimated sum of Rs. 3.00 lakh per annum is required for recurring expenditure. The
breakup is given below:

I. Materials required for maintenance Rs. 1.50 lakh

II. Electricity Rs. 1.00 lakh
III. Contingencies Rs. 0.50 lakh

Conclusion
A Bank locker security system using passive RFID and GSM has been proposed. It is a low
cost, low in power conception, compact in size and standalone system. The microcontroller
compares the passwords entered by keyboard and received through mobile phone. If these
passwords are correct the microcontroller provides necessary control signal to open the bank
locker. Alarm will be turn on whenever door is forced to open. Future work of this paper, is
planned to a develop security system based on 3G camera for visual identification of the
person.
