High School District. I am confident that my skills, education, experience and dedication to students will be an asset
for not just the district but for the community and all stakeholders.

As an Assistant Principal, with a fundamental belief that all kids can learn, I will strive to establish and cultivate an
atmosphere in which teamwork with fellow administrators will improve and support the success of all students and
staff. In this cultivation, I look forward to not only challenging myself with the various responsibilities that this job
demands, but I also look forward to becoming enthralled with the rich academic, athletic and communal traditions
that make HBUHSD one of the very best districts in Orange County.

I will eagerly and methodically work to tackle any and all assignments required with the goal of exceeding any and
all expectations. My successes and years of experience in athletic administration (2 Years), teaching (2 Years),
coaching (19 years), facility management, Common Core leadership, PLC/ RTI training and educational program
coordination, combined with my two masters’ degrees, gives me a unique and valuable perspective that will benefit
the school site’s culture and climate. During my tenure, I have acquired a realistic understanding of the expectations
and pressures of a person in this position and welcome the challenge. I also understand the importance for an
administrator to value, support, and participate in the whole student experience.

I would describe myself as being resourceful, motivating, approachable, and strategic as a leader. I am always
organized and focused on multiple goals at one time and pride myself as being a great communicator. I view
communication and empathy as keys for lasting leadership, as well as a catalyst for the creation of a winning
administration team that supports the development of all students. Whether it’s coaching at the collegiate level and
high school level, or overseeing successful athletic programs at Westminster High School, I have always relied on
my strength of communication and being able to relate to people to fuel my success as a leader. I know that my
talents as a leader and passion for students will make me the type of Assistant Principal that you are looking for. The
type of Administrator that will have a positive and lasting impact in the HBUHS District.
