Looking back at the past years and comparing it in our present year, it seems that the
health situation in our country didn’t improved in many aspects. Sad to say, our country is very poor in
terms of its healthcare system. Our government or to be more specific, mostly of our leaders wasn’t that
competent enough to provide us the best health that we need. Our health is not the main priority of our
government, especially in our current administration. Some of health situation that I noticed in our
country or even inside our community was the lack of healthcare facilities and resources that could
provide quality care to the patient. Many in far flung areas do not have hospital or even infirmary
nearby that could give first aid if there is an emergency, thus could worsen the patient’s case or could
even result in death. Next thing is, the health in our country is expensive. Better to those who are
capable enough, but not to those who aren’t privileged to afford such. One problem that I observed
since then were the malnutrition cases in our country. According to the data released by UNICEF last
year, Filipino children are increasingly suffering from poor diets, inadequate nutrition and food systems
