Hi Reece,
My friend's name is Mike. He is from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. He is a married graphic
designer. He has one daughter, her name is Sophie. His wife, Mary, is a British high school English
teacher. Her family is still in England, but she now works and lives with Mike in Charlotte. They
speak English, Spanish and German. Sophie is a 7 years old pupil at a local primary school.
Mike’s favourite place at home is his studio because it is a place where he can concentrate on his
work and feels comfortable at the same time. Of course, he has all the necessary equipment on his
desk; the telephone next to the fax machine. The computer is in the center of his desk. There is a
comfortable office chair to sit on and some pictures of the family near the telephone. There is a floor
lamp which he uses in the evening; in the cabinet drawers are paper clips, a stapler, highlighters,
pens and erasers. Mike likes to use highlighters to remember important information. In the room,
there is also a comfortable sofa where his wife and daughter like to sit on and have some laughs
with him.
